LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

These beautiful gardens are only a short walk away from the Three Chimneys. You will discover why this is one of the most popular National Trust properties and the reason why Vita Sackville-West adored this wonderful setting as a place to live.

This is the southeast's largest reservoir and is settled within a green and wooded Wealden valley just south of Lamberhurst. There are many activities that you can pursue in either the lake itself or the land surrounding it, including sailing, cycling or finding out about the importance of water at the visitor centre.

Biddenden Vineyards is open to the public throughout the year, with free admission and tastings. For those just passing, there is a self-guided tour route around the vines for you to take a stroll at your leisure. Dogs are welcome on leads. All tours are followed by a visit to the shop to sample the wines, ciders and juices.

Located near Goudhurst, this is the perfect place for healthy outdoor exercise. There are miles of family cycling; mountain biking, walking, horse riding and adventure play for all ages.

This musical museum is housed in a fine Georgian manor house set in beautiful gardens and parkland. It is a musical centre of international repute, with many events and festivals throughout the year. Includes a fine Music Room with a gallery, which opens onto a terrace. Individuals and small groups can book in by appointment for a private visit to include a demonstration recital.

Another gem of the National Trust and only a short drive away. Get lost in the colourful gardens and romantic ruins, visit the historic house or take a stroll in the parkland.
